Questions
Can it tell who published the image first?
It shows the earliest publication it found and its date. An older copy may still exist somewhere it cannot reach, so treat the date as the earliest known one.
Does it work for cropped or resized pictures?
Usually, yes. Resized, recompressed and lightly cropped copies are recognised. Heavy edits and screenshots are harder, so use the original file if you have it.
